Tebet Sub-district Head Dyan Airlangga conveyed the FPSA would be built on the north side of Tebet Eco Park area or next to the Youth Social House.

"This FPSA is a Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency's pilot project. The location and policies are ready thus it is expected to be realized in 2022," he said, Thursday (6/2).

According to him, tens of thousands of people have visited Tebet Eco Park since it opened to the public. The place is always crowded with people, especially on holidays and weekends.

"Because of the large number of visitors, Tebet Eco Park is one of the areas in Tebet Sub-district that produces the most waste," he stated.

Based on the coordination between Tebet Sub-district and relevant agencies agreed on the construction of FPSA in areas near Tebet Eco Park.

"Inorganic and organic waste from Tebet Eco Park and surrounding residential areas will be processed at FPSA first," he explained.

He was optimistic that FPSA in Tebet Sub-district would reduce the volume of waste before it was transported to Bantar Gebang TPST.

"Hopefully, it can be realized in 2022," he hoped.
